Freezing
■
Only fresh foodstuff is suitable for free-
zing.
■
In order to freeze the maximum amount
allowed (→ see ratings plate) change the
switch setting to approx. 1/ 2 position
warmer than "normal" immediately be-
fore putting in the food to be frozen
(e.g. from position 6 to 5.5).
■
Place the portions of food to be frozen
side by side on the bottom of the deep-
freeze compartment in order to obtain
maximum cold transfer.
■
After 24 h turn the switch back to the
normal setting.
■
Small quantities can be frozen in any part
of the deep-freeze. It is sufficient to leave
the switch on normal setting in this case.
■
To prevent the temperature of the deep
frozen food from rising too high, freeze
only the maximum quantity allowed at
any one time (→ see ratings plate). It is
advisable to make only small portions.
The food to be frozen should not touch
the frozen food already in the freezer.
■
Once food is thawed, do not freeze it
again, as it may spoil.

Variable inside door
The compartments in the door can easily
be adjusted and allow you to organise the
divisions to suit your individual needs.
To adjust the door compartments (fig ;)
and bottle drawer: first push up and pull
out, adjust to the required height and pro-
ceed in inverse order to replace. Please no-
te that the lid of the topmost compartment
is not adjustable.
