PREPARING FOR FIRST USE
Unpacking the Wartmann air fryer
Remove the Wartmann air fryer from the box and
take off all packaging materials. The Wartmann air
fryer comes with a fixed power cord. Gently pull the
basket out of the appliance. Remove any remaining
packaging materials. Inside the basket, you will find
the separate ceramic baking rack. Thoroughly clean
the basket and baking rack with a soft, non-abrasive
sponge, warm water, and a small amount of dish
soap. Dry them afterward with a slightly damp cloth.
Place the baking rack into the basket and return the
basket into the air fryer. Position the Wartmann air
fryer on a flat surface where it cannot tip over, even
when passing by. Ensure there is adequate ventilati-
on around the Wartmann air fryer.
Connect the power cord
The Wartmann air fryer comes with a fixed power
cord (plug). This cord is attached to the bottom at the
back of the air fryer. Unroll the power cord and plug
it into a grounded outlet. Always use a grounded
outlet.
Turn on the Wartmann air fryer (see 4.2)
Once you plug the Wartmann air fryer into the
socket, it enters 'standby' mode. You will hear a loud
beep, and the display will briefly light up. Now, you
will see the red illuminated 'power' button. The dis-
play will show 'OFF'. The Wartmann air fryer is now
ready for use.
