Steam Ironing Station
L
Steam-ironing is only possible at
a high temperature. At lower tem-
peratures, water could emerge
from the bottom of the iron rather
than steam.
In addition, the iron can also emit a burst
of steam, e.g. for smoothing stubborn
creases or textiles which are hanging up.
To do this, press the steam button twice
in succession. For optimum operation, no
more than 3 steam bursts one after the
other should be emitted.
When the water tank is empty, steam will
no longer be produced. Follow the in-
structions in the "Filling the Water Tank"
section to top it up.
Vertical Steam-Ironing
Please Note!
■
For vertical ironing, the item of
clothing must hang on an iron with
sufficient clearance all the way round
so that the heat and moisture does
not cause any damage.
1. Make sure that the water tank (13) has
been filled (see the "Filling the Water
Tank" section).
2. Turn the temperature control dial (7)
to the Max position and allow the
device to heat up.
L
When performing vertical
steam-ironing on delicate fabrics,
hold the iron a few centimetres
away from the fabric.
3. Press the steam button (3) and move
the bottom of the iron (9) a little in
front of or on the fabric.

CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
■
Do not use any caustic or abrasive
cleaning agents to clean the device.
These may damage the surface. Do
not use any metal objects to remove
dirt from the bottom of the iron.
•
If necessary, wipe down the outside of
the device with a soft, slightly damp
cloth and then dry it with a soft cloth.
•
When the water tank (13) has been
emptied and dried (see the "Use"
chapter – "After Use"), wind up the
connecting cables and insert them
into the cable holders (11).
•
Store the device in a dry, clean, frost-
free place that is not accessible to
children and animals.
