Steam Ironing Station
DEVICE FUNCTIONS
•
The device has an extra-large water
tank (13) to allow you to iron for a par-
ticularly long time without stopping to
refill the water.
•
The device features temperature
control which maintains the chosen
temperature at a constant level while
the iron is connected to the mains
power.
IRONING RECOMMENDATIONS
•
Check before ironing whether the garment which is to be ironed has a label with
ironing instructions on it and follow them. Otherwise select the ironing temperature
based on the type of fabric. The recommended temperature and steam settings
are:
Label
Synthetics (e.g. nylon, viscose), velvet
Silk
Wool
Cotton
Linen
Not suitable for ironing

With blended fabrics base the temperature setting on the most delicate blended
fibre.
•
Sort the textiles based on the ironing temperature and start with the garments
which require the lowest temperature. If the temperature on the device is reduced,
wait a short while until the bottom of the iron has cooled down and then continue
ironing.
•

The steam button (3) can be used
to activate and deactivate steam
production. When steam production
has been activated, steam escapes
during ironing from the bottom of the
iron (9).
•
The self-cleaning function removes
limescale residues from the device.
•
The device switches off if it over-
heats.
