USE
For steam-ironing, the water tank (13)
needs to be filled with water. This is not
necessary for dry-ironing.
Filling the Water Tank
Please Note!
■
Do not overfill the water tank! Do
not exceed the MAX marking on the
water tank.
■
Never pour additives into the water
tank. These could damage the device.
1. Make sure that the device is not
connected to the mains power and is
not hot.
2. Hold the water tank (13) by the
grip (12) at the bottom and pull it out
of the ironing station.
3. Pour tap water or distilled water into
the filler opening (14).
4. Hold the water tank horizontally and
insert it into the ironing station. It
must engage audibly.
Ironing
Please Note!
■
It is essential that you read through
the "Ironing Recommendations"
chapter before you first use the
device!
■
Only connect the device to a plug
socket that is properly installed. The
plug socket must also be readily
accessible after connection so that the
connection to the mains can quickly
be isolated. The mains voltage must
match the rating plate of the device.
■
Do not use any extension cables.
■
Before the iron is used on an item of
clothing for the first time, iron over a
damp scrap piece of fabric to remove

any possible production residues from
the bottom of the iron.
■
With any further use, always test the
device first on a small, inconspicuous
spot on the fabric.
■
Do not iron on one spot for too long
and do not leave the hot bottom of
the iron standing on the fabric or an-
other heat-sensitive surface! This may
cause a fire.
■
Do not iron delicate fibres with steam
to prevent any damage!
■
Do not iron over zips, studs, clips, se-
quins etc. to prevent any damage to
the coating on the bottom of the iron.
1. Place the ironing station onto the iron-
ing board or a stable, flat, heat-resist-
ant and moisture-resistant surface.
2. Place the bottom (9) of the iron on the
storage area (10) of the ironing sta-
tion. Check that the iron is positioned
securely.
3. Move the temperature control dial (7)
to the Min position. To do this, turn
Min to the positional mark (8).
4. Pull both connecting cables out of the
cable holders (11) and fully unwind
them.
5. Plug the mains plug into a plug
socket.
6. Check the label in the garment for the
required ironing temperature (see the
"Ironing Recommendations" chapter)
and set this temperature using the
temperature control dial (turn the
temperature setting you want to the
positional mark). The heat control
lamp (1) lights up.
Once the device has reached the set
temperature, the heat control lamp
goes out. The iron is ready for use.
7. Move the bottom of the iron back and
forth on the fabric until it is smooth.
For steam-ironing, hold down the
steam button (3).
