Do not use the device if it has mal-
functioned or been dropped into
water to avoid any hazards. Have it
checked in a specialist workshop be-
fore putting it back into operation.
WARNING – Danger of Fire
■
Do not connect the device along with
other consumers (with a high wattage)
to a multiple socket in order to pre-
vent overloading and a possible short
circuit (fire).
■
Do not operate the device in the
vicinity of combustible material.
■
Always place the device upright on its
base even during short pauses in iron-
ing and do not place it down on the
bottom of the iron. Pull out the mains
plug during lengthy breaks.
■
Immediately after use, place the still
hot device down a minimum distance
of 15 cm away from walls, furniture
and other objects.
■
Never cover up the steam nozzles and
do not insert any objects into them.
WARNING – Danger of Injury
■
Keep children and animals away from
the packaging material. There is a
danger of suffocation.
■
Never attempt to iron clothes while
somebody is wearing them. There is a
danger of burns.
■
Never aim steam directly at people,
animals or plants! There is a danger of
scalding from hot steam.
■
Make sure that the connecting cable
is always kept out of the reach of
small children and animals. There is a
danger of strangulation.
■
Lay the connecting cable in such a
way that it does not present a trip
hazard.

NOTICE – Risk of Damage to
Material and Property

Only iron on a heat-resistant and
moisture-resistant surface. We recom-
mend that you use a standard ironing
board. Never iron on surfaces made
from glass or plastic.
■
Only switch on steam production
when the water tank has been filled
with water. Otherwise the water pump
of the device may be damaged.
■
Never direct the steam directly at the
connecting cable or parts containing
electrical components (such as inside
ovens, fridges, at switches and lights,
microwave ovens).
■
Make sure that the connecting cable
is not squashed, bent or laid over
sharp edges and does not come into
contact with hot surfaces (e.g. of the
device).
■
Disconnect the device from the mains
power if a fault occurs or in a thunder-
storm.
■
When you disconnect the device
from the mains power, always pull on
the mains plug and never the mains
cable.
■
Never pull or carry the device by the
connecting cable.
■
Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the device from working and
to avoid possible damage.
■
Never place heavy objects on the
device or the connecting cable.
■
Use and store the device at room
temperature, do not expose it to
extreme temperatures or temperature
fluctuations.
■
Protect the device from other heat
sources, naked flames, persistent
moisture and impacts.
