Periodic examination log
To be completed by a Competent person at least every 12 months from the date of first
use* and retained. Latchways Sealed Retrieval SRL shall only be examined by Technicians.
Periodic examinations are an important element for maintaining product safety and shall be
completed in accordance with MSA instructions. Latchways SRLs scheduled for examination
shall be withdrawn from service and tagged "do not use". Periodic examination instructions
may be downloaded from MSAsafety.com. Technicians may repair Latchways SRLs in
accordance with MSA's instructions. For further information contact

corresponding inspection records shall be retained for future reference and should
be used as part of an employee training programme.
