The door sticks
A vacuum is formed in the cabinet when the door
of the freezer section is opened and closed. If
repeated opening and closing of the door within a
short space of time is necessary place an object
between the sealing strip on the door and the front
of the cabinet in order to let air pass.
The appliance is to remain
unused for a time
Turn the thermostat knob to „0" and disconnect
the appliance at the wall socket. After defrosting
and cleaning the appliance, leave the doors slightly
ajar. This will prevent bad smells.
Compressor does not run
- Check the temperature setting.
- Check to ensure power is switched on and that
the plug has been properly inserted in the wall
socket.
Trickling and gurgling noises
Circulating refrigerant causes these noises. This
is quite normal, even when the compressor is not
running.

Note also
The compressor starting system often needs a
pause before it can be restarted. The compressor
will itself automatically decide how long the pause
is to be.
When ordering spare parts, please give the type
and serial number of the fridge/freezer. This
information is given on the nameplate inside the
cabinet.
Turn the thermostat knob to „0" and disconnect the
appliance by unplugging the mains lead from the
wall socket. Unscrew the lamp cover with a
screwdriver. Replace the bulb with a new one
(max. 15 W).
Refit the cover and plug in the mains lead.
Reset the temperature.
The device has been manufactured of recyclable
materials. By bringing old device to recycling collec-
tion center, you show that you care about nature.
Ask your local environmental care authority for infor-
mation on location of such facilities.

Disposal
When disposing of the device, do not
bring it to regular municipal waste con-
tainers. Instead, bring it to electrical and
electronic waste recycling and reuse
center. A relevant label has been put on
the device, its instructions manual, or on
the package.
