Always check that the brakes are working
before using the rollator.
Make sure that the folding mechanism is
locked in place after unfolding the rollator.
Always use the parking brake when
stopping or parking.
Ensure that the rollator has been adjusted
to the correct height to avoid incorrect
loadings and falls. Do not push the rollator
a long way in front of your body.
Be aware of the possibility of trapping
injuries; avoid putting your fingers between
the rollator's moving parts. Pay particular
attention when folding and unfolding the
rollator.
If the rollator is subject to direct sunlight /
cold temperature for a long period of time,
then surfaces of the rollator may become
hot (>41°C) / very cold. Be careful when
touching the rollator in these conditions as
skin burns or freeze can occur. People with
Hypoesthesia should be extra careful.
Do not use the rollator for any purpose

Maintenance

Maintenance described in this section can be
carried out by the user. Other maintenance
work should be carried out by qualified
personnel at the supplier in your municipality
or at the technical aids centre. For information
about repairs and servicing, please contact
the technical aids centre in your county.
Cleaning
Proper cleaning and disinfection of your
product is essential to extend its life and
keep it looking new for longer; but it is also
essential to prevent the spread of bacteria
and viruses such as COVID-19.
Cleaning vs. Disinfection
The first thing to remember is that cleaning
is not the same as disinfecting. By cleaning,
we remove germs and dirt from surfaces, but
we do not kill germs. Removing them only
decreases the number of germs and risk of
spreading infections.
On the other hand, by disinfecting a walker/
rollator we kill microorganisms like bacteria by
using chemical products. This process does
not necessarily clean dirty surfaces. Killing
germs on the surface after cleaning has been
done can further prevent the spreading of
infectious diseases.
Washing the frame
The frame should be washed regularly with
warm soapy water up to a max temperature
of 60°C. If the frame is very dirty, a
degreasing agent may be used. The frame
may be washed with a high-pressure hose. If
you use this method, avoid directly spraying
the ball bearings. Dry the rollator thoroughly
after washing it or after it has been used in
rainy conditions e.g. in a drying cabinet. If
a degreasing agent is used, moving parts
should be greased afterwards.
Disinfection
Disinfection should only be carried out by
qualified personnel. The rollator can be
disinfected using a disinfectant containing
70– 80 per cent ethanol or disinfectants
commonly used on the market. Do not use
disinfectants that contain bleach or phenols.

Danger!
It is important that should the Walker/
Rollator be used by more than one person
it is cleaned thoroughly to ensure there is
no cross infection. Hygiene measures when
being re-used: Prior to the walker/rollator
being re-used, it must be carefully prepared.
Please pay attention to the manufacturer`s
instructions of the disinfectant you are using.
Prior to the Walker/Rollator being re-used,
it must be carefully prepared. All surfaces
which come into contact with the user
must be treated with a disinfection spray.
To do this, you must use a disinfectant as
authorized / recommended in your country,
for rapid alcohol-based disinfection for
medical products and medical devices,
which must be disinfected quickly. Please be
aware of the manufacturer's instructions for
the disinfectant you are using. In general, a
complete disinfection cannot be guaranteed
on seams. We therefore recommend that
you dispose of seat and back slings to avoid
micro-bacterial contamination with active
agents according to your local infection
protection law.
Caution!
Do not use solvents, bleaches, abrasives,
synthetic detergents, wax polishes or
aerosols. Disinfectants may be used in
dilution as specified by their manufacturer.
Ensure surfaces are rinsed with clean water
and dried thoroughly. Disinfect it using a
special sanitizer for surfaces or disinfect with
wipes that contain 70-80% ethanol/alcohol
solution, or other approved store-bought
solutions for disinfecting surfaces. These
products are labelled as bactericidal and
virucidal. The sanitizer must remain on the
surface for at least 15 minutes. The surface
should then be cleaned with a wipe and
rinsed with an aseptic cloth.
Warning!
Always read the label on any commercial or
domestic cleaning substances. Always follow
the instructions carefully.
Caution!
Sand and sea water (or salt in the winter) can
damage the bearings of the wheels. Clean the
walker/rollator thoroughly after exposure.
Caution!
Excessive use of chemical or use of
incorrect chemicals can lead to corrosion
or degradation of materials used • Body-
fluids can lead to corrosion or degradation
of materials used. Make sure to clean and
disinfect all parts of the walker/rollator after
contact with body-fluids
