PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

INPELLET 49 is an insert that uses pellets as fuel. Combustion
is electronically managed.
The fuel (pellets) is taken from the storage tank (A). A cochlea
(B) is enabled by a gear motor (C), which takes the fuel to the
combustion chamber (D).
The pellets are ignited by hot air produced by an electrical resi-
stance (E) and suctioned into the combustion chamber by
means of a centrifugal fan (F).
The smoke produced by combustion is extracted from the he-
arth by means of this centrifugal fan (F) and expelled from the
mouth (F) located in the upper area of the insert (L).
Through the grilles on the front sides (H), via the fans (G) the
air from the room is drawn and passed in the cavity on the rear
of the hearth where it is heated and then returned to the room.
The fuel tank (A) is situated to the rear of the insert
The hopper is fi lled by a fl exible tube, complete with a loading
inlet to be attached to the c/hood (see pg. 25) and connected to
the outlet (I), located on the upper part of the insert.
The hearth has been constructed with a steel perimeter structu-
re, covered with lower panels in cast iron, closed to the front by
two overlaying doors.
- an external ceramic glass door
- an internal ceramic glass shutter in contact with the fl ames.
(to open use the specifi c thermal glove)
Fuel quantity, smoke extraction and combustion air supply are
all regulated by the electronic board, guaranteeing high
performance combustion.
All operations for operation management can be controlled by
the remote control supplied.
In case of breakage or loss of the radio control, power on/off
and setting of the operating power can be made by an emer-
gency button inside the insert (see page 35).

SAFETY INFORMATION

INPELLET 49 are designed to heat, through automatic pellet
combustion in the hearth, the room where they are installed, by
radiation and the air coming out of the front.
• The only risks that may derive from using the insert pertain
to non-compliance with installation instructions, direct contact
with live electrical parts (internal), contact with the fi re or hot
parts (glass, pipes, hot air output), or foreign substances being
put in the insert.
• Only use wood pellets with 6 mm diameter as fuel.
• Should components fail, the insert are equipped with safety
devices that guarantee automatic shutdown. These are activated
without any intervention required.
• In order to function correctly, the insert must be installed
in accordance with the instructions given herein and the door
must not be opened during operation: combustion is fully auto-
matic and requires no intervention.
• Under no circumstances should any foreign substances be
entered into the hearth or hopper.
• Do not use fl ammable products to clean the smoke channel
(the fl ue section connecting the insert smoke outlet to the chim-
ney fl ue).
• Hearth and hopper components must only be cleaned with a
vacuum cleaner.
• The glass can be cleaned when COLD with a suitable product
(e.g. GlassKamin Edilkamin) and a cloth.
• Ensure that the stoves are installed and ignited by a qualifi ed
Edilkamin DEALER, in accordance with the instructions given
herein.
• When the insert is in operation, the exhaust pipes and door
become very hot (do not touch without wearing the thermal
glove).
• Do not place anything, which is not heat resistant near the
insert.
• NEVER use liquid fuel to ignite the stove or rekindle the
embers.
• Do not block the stove's external air intake.
• Do not wet the stove and do not go near electrical parts with
wet hands.
• Do not use reducers on the smoke exhaust pipes.
• The insert must be installed in a room that is suitable for fi re
prevention and equipped with all that is required (power and
air supply and outlets) for the stove to function correctly and
safely.
• Should ignition fail, DO NOT re-ignite until you have
emptied the combustion chamber.
•ATTENTION:
THE PELLET EMPTIED FROM THE COMBUSTION
G
CHAMBER MUST NOT BE DEPOSITED INSIDE THE
HOPPER.
