The near-infrared wavelength (850 nm) is not within the visible spectrum. The activity of the near-infrared LEDs therefore
cannot be seen by the user. Indicator LEDs on the control panel interface show the activity of the near-infrared LEDs. Never
look directly at the near-infrared LEDs when they are emitting light and, more generally speaking, do not look directly at
LEDs when they are emitting light. Tests based on the NF IEC 62471 standard revealed that infrared carries a low risk (Risk
Group 0) with regard to injury to the eye only.
The device must be used within a temperature range of 0° to 30° C.
Do not use the mask while it is charging. Disconnect the power supply cord before using.
The device must only be used with the material provided.
The charger must be easy to unplug.
In the event of frequent use, the LED mask must be left unused for one hour after each facial and for one hour and a half
after being fully re-charged.
The charger must not be used in a humid atmosphere or near a source of water.
Contraindications
• Medications causing photosensitivity: The use of retinoids or other medications causing photosensitivity is contraindicated for any
phototherapy treatment. Certain fragrances and essential oils may also be contraindicated. If case of doubt, consult a dermatologist or
specialist.
• Anti-inflammatory treatments: Reduce the benefits of LED therapy to zero.
• Pregnancy: The device is not to be used by pregnant women.
• Children: The device is not to be used by children.
• Cancer patients: Phototherapy can soothe many of the side effects of cancer treatments. However, the use of phototherapy on these
patients should be assessed by the appropriate medical specialists.
The myLEDmask must never be covered by any material whatsoever while in use. The patient's skin must remain directly exposed to the light.
As a reminder, this device is not intended for medical use, only cosmetic.
If the device enters into direct contact with the patient's intact skin, this is deemed "non-critical" (low risk of infection) and the device
should be lightly disinfected. We recommend lightly disinfecting all the transparent parts of the device in contact with the skin as well as
the protective eye covers before and after each facial to avoid a risk of infection otherwise.
3.5. Lifespan and warranty
• Lifespan
The estimated lifespan of the device is eight years (including average LED lifespan in the context of regular use and care), with the possible
replacement of main components such as certain electronic cards.
• Warranty
The device has a two-year warranty.
Our material is guaranteed for two years against any risk of dysfunction caused by a manufacturing or design defect.
The warranty is limited to the replacement of any parts recognized as defective by our technicians. We reserve the right to modify any
material we have manufactured in any way we deem necessary.
The time it takes to repair the device under warranty shall not be compensated by a price reduction, by the postponement of agreed upon
payment deadlines, or by an extension of the warranty.
