Before using the product for the first time, read
these instructions and safety measures carefully.
Keep this manual in a handy place for future use.
Safety warnings
- Please read the instructions and warnings
before using the product for the first time.
- This device is designed for household use
only.
- The device is not designed for use in the
following cases, which are not covered by
the warranty:
o In kitchen areas reserved for staff in
shops, offices and other workplaces.
o On farms.
o By clients in hotels, motels and other
residential environments.
o In rural tourism accommodation.
- Never plug in the device when not in use.
- This product was not designed to be
used by anyone (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities, or by people without adequate
experience and/or knowledge, unless they
are supervised by someone responsible
for their safety or are given instructions on
how to use the device.
- The temperature of accessible surfaces
may increase when the device is in use.
- Remove all packaging, stickers and
accessories from inside and outside the
device.
- Unscrew the cable completely.
- When using the device in the center of
a table, ensure that it is out of reach of
children.
- To ensure that the device does not
overheat, do not place it in a corner or
against a wall.
- This device is not designed for use with
an external timer or a separate remote
control system.
- Never place the device directly on a fragile
surface (glass table, tablecloth, varnished
furniture, etc.) or on a soft surface (plastic
tablecloth, etc.).
- If an extension cable is used, it must be
of sufficient current-carrying capacity and
include an earth wire.
- The device should only be connected to a
grounded socket.
- Pay attention to the location of the
cable, with or without extension: take all
necessary precautions to avoid disturbing
the movement of diners around the table
to ensure that no one trips on the cable.
- Check that the mains voltage matches
the voltage indicated on the device.
- Caution: Use the cable with the power
adapter supplied.
- Use the adapter indoors only and in rooms
located away from sources of moisture
- DO NOT use the cable with the adapter
if the cable, plug or adapter is damaged.
Order a replacement from the authorized
technical service. If the device is incorrectly
repaired or reassembled, it could cause an
electric shock or personal injury when it is
used.
- If the power cable is damaged, it should
be replaced by the manufacturer, the
authorized technical service or a qualified
technician.
- DO NOT unplug the device by pulling on
the cable. To unplug the device from the
mains, pull on the plug, not the cable.
- Do not use extension leads or outlets with
incorrect power capacity.
- Use the electric adapter only for its
intended purpose.
- DO NOT leave the device unattended
when it is plugged in or turned on.
- Never place aluminum foil or any other
object between the plate or the griddle and
the food to be cooked.
- Do not touch the oil-collecting tray when
the device is hot. If the oil-collecting tray
becomes full during cooking, allow the
device to cool down before emptying it.
