MAINTENANCE
Carry out regular visual inspections. Check the device, battery and charging station for damage
before each use.

Do not use the device, battery or charging station if there is visible damage.
9.1
CHARGING THE BATTERY

Use the supplied charging station only for the batteries supplied with the device.

Charge the battery only in well-ventilated areas, away from moisture and
flammable or explosive substances.
1. Insert the plug of the charging station into a properly installed
socket.
The charging indicator on the charging station lights up green.
2. Make sure that there is no dirt or dust on the contacts of the
battery and the charging station.
3. Insert the battery (4) into the charging station so that the
positive and negative poles are in correct contact (Fig. 9).
You will find the pole markings on both the battery (4) and
the charging station.
4. Push the battery in until it touches the bottom of the charging
station.

Do not use force when inserting to avoid damaging
the battery and the charging station.
During the charging process, the charging indicator lights up red. As soon as charging is complete,
the charging indicator lights up green.

Charging takes approx. 1.5-2 hours.

If the batteries are hot (e.g. from devices that have just been used), the charging indicator
may not light up red. Let the battery cool down first, preferably outside the charging station.

If your charging indicator flashes red and green alternately, charging is not possible. The
connections on the battery or the charger may be dusty, worn or damaged.
5. Remove the battery (4) from the charging station and disconnect the charging station from
the socket.
9.2
SHARPENING BLADES
CAU TI ON
Sharpening of the blades may only be carried out by specialist dealers using special
machines. Do not sharpen the blades yourself.
