Zone mixing valve connection
The accessory controls a mixing valve with 230 Vac
servomotor with three-point control connected to outputs
C and O (X1 terminal) and N (MA terminal board).

2.4.3 Delivery probe connection
The accessory is supplied with a contact temperature probe
(1) to be positioned on the delivery pipe (2) of the controlled
zone using the fixing clip (3) with appropriate diameter.
The probe must be connected to inputs SM and C of
terminal X2.
The polarity of the conductors does not matter. When
connecting or if it is necessary to increase the length of
the probe cable, refer to the following notes:
− It is absolutely essential to avoid laying down the
probe cables together with the mains voltage cables
and/or AC cables.
− It is essential to avoid routing the cables near strong
magnetic fields.
− Avoid as much as possible the cable joints; properly
insulate and seal the necessary ones.
− Use twisted and shielded cables
− Use cables with a cross-section greater than 0.5 sq. mm.

3 MODBUS CONNECTION
The 1st DIR/MIX ZONE CONTROL ACCESSORY has a Modbus
connection that allows interfacing with the regulator on
the thermal unit and with any additional zone controls.

3.1 Modbus address
Set the bus address of the accessory by arranging the dip-
switches present on the BE16 board as shown in the figure.
