2.4 Electrical connections
9
It is mandatory:
− to use an omnipolar magnetothermic switch,
a feeder disconnector, compliant with IEC-EN
standards (contact opening of at least 3mm);
− to comply with the connection L (phase) - N
(Neutral); ensure that the earth conductor is approx.
2 cm longer than power supply cables;
− use cables with a cross-section greater than or
equal to 1.5 sq. mm, complete with conductor end
sleeves;
− to refer to the wiring diagrams in this booklet for
any electrical operation;
9
It is not allowed to use adapters, multiple sockets,
extensions for the power supply of the equipment.
9
When connecting external electrical components, it is
recommended to use auxiliary contactors and/or relays
to be installed in a suitable external electric panel.
9
All the operations to be carried out on the electric
system must be carried out only by qualified personnel
and in compliance with the Law and with particular
attention to safety standards.
9
Lock the cables in the suitable cable retainers provided
to ensure that they are always correctly positioned
inside the equipment.
9
The power supply and the control cables (ambient
thermostat/heat request, temperature external probes,
etc.) must be strictly separated from each other and
installed inside independent corrugated PVC pipes up
to the electric panel.
9
The connection to the power mains must be made
using N1VVK or equivalent shielded 1 (3 x 1.5) cables,
whereas simple N07VKm or equivalent wires can be
used for thermoregulation and low voltage circuits.
9
If the distribution of electricity by the supplying
company is of the "PHASE PHASE" type, contact the
nearest Technical Assistance Service in advance.
9
Before
connecting
(pump, valve servomotor, probes, thermostat) to the
accessory, check the compatibility of their electric
characteristics (voltage, absorption, inrush current)
with the available inputs and outputs.
9
Always check the effectiveness of the "earthing" of
the electric system to which the accessory is to be
connected.
9
R
declines all responsibility for any damage to
property or persons, resulting from failure to comply
with the wiring diagrams or failure to earth the electric
system or failure to comply with the IEC standards in
force.
0
It is forbidden to use any kind of pipes to earth the
accessory.
0
It is forbidden to lay power supply and ambient
thermostat/heat request cables close to hot surfaces
(flow pipes). If there is a risk of contact with hot parts,
with temperatures exceeding 50°C, a suitable type of
cable must be utilized.
0
It is forbidden to leave the accessory exposed to
atmospheric agents (rain, sun, wind etc.).

2.4.2 Connection of circulation pump and zone
mixing valve
The 1st dir/mix zone control accessory allows controlling
the circulation pump and the zone mixing valve connected
to two independent outputs. For technical data see the
relevant section "Technical data"
Zone circulation pump connection
The accessory controls a standard 230 Vac circulation pump
connected to the P (X1 terminal) and N (MA terminal board)
outputs.
