a9 Loosen the Velcro fasteners and adjust to the desired height
a10 Fasten the Velcro straps again with light pressure

b1 Make sure that the air hose connector is pointing downwards
b2 Loosen the neck strap with the side tabs
b3 Attach the mask on the side with the Y-hose
b4 Put on the mask with one side attached
b5 Tighten the neck strap until it rests against your neck
b6 Click in the second side of the mask
b7 Pull the tabs on the headgear until the headgear is comfortable and secure
b8 Tighten the mask seal as shown so that the mask seals properly
b9 Be careful that the nose pad does not pinch, if it does, go to step b10
b10 If the mask is too tight you can remove the perforated part of the cushion
b11 final examination:
b11.1 Switch on the fresh air system at level 1
b11.2 Take a quick breath
b11.3 The mask should pull against your face as you inhale
b11.4 If this is not the case, the sealing of the mask is not correct
b11.5 If the test was successful you may begin working

c1 Switch on the swiss air using the on / off switch. Press the switch for approx.
2 seconds�
c2 Select the air flow by briefly pressing the on / off switch, you will receive an
acoustic signal (level 1 = 1 beep, level 2 = 2 beeps etc.)
c3 Switch off the swiss air by pressing the on / off switch for 2s
c4 Carefully pull on the catch from the filter cover to loosen it
c5 Remove the filter cover
c6 Change the pre-filter and the particle filter
c7 Push the filter cover back in
c8 You shoud hear a click
c9 Carefully pull on the latch of the battery to release it. Pull the battery completely
out of the housing
c10 Charge the battery with the supplied charger
c11 Close the filter cover again.
c12 If a hose change is necessary, pull the clip out of the housing, replace the
hose and reinsert the clip�

• Make sure that the plug is completely inserted into the socket. When the control
unit is plugged in again, first switch it off at the control panel and then set the
desired air flow.
• Always use the control panel to switch on and off (if connected). If you press
the On button of the swiss air while the control panel is connected, an alarm
will sound�
• If the control panel is unplugged during operation, the swiss air automatically
switches to level III�
• If the particle filter is clogged or no particle filter is inserted, the control panel
displays an error and an acoustic signal sounds.

d2. 100% - 75% - All four display LEDs light up green
d3. 75% - 50% - Three display LEDs light up green

d5. 25% - 10% - A display LED lights up yellow
