control panel (S IV / d1)
Replace main filter and prefilter: If a filter alarm is issued (audible / visual with control
panel connected), the prefilter must be replaced (p. III / c4-c8). Please monitor the
time between filter alarms. This becomes shorter after every replacement of the
prefilter. If you have the impression that the change intervals are becoming too short,
we recommend changing the main filter and the prefilter (p. III / c4-c8).
Alarm functions
Filter alarm: If the filter clogging alarm is activated, you will hear an acoustic signal
with an interval of 0.5s (0.25s on, 0.25s off) and the LEDs light up red when the control
panel is connected. When operating without a control panel, the swiss air switches to
the next lower level if level II or III is set in order to achieve the air flow. The following
signal tones can then be heard: 10x beeps (warning tone that the level is changed)
and 2x beeps (level II is set) or 1x beep (level I is set). If you want to change the pre-
filter and the main filter, press the On / Off button for 2 seconds to switch off the fresh
air system. You can now change the filters.
Battery alarm: If the battery alarm is activated, you will hear an acoustic signal with
an interval of 3.0s (1.5s on, 1.5s off), and the LEDs will light up red if the control panel
is connected. An acoustic signal is emitted every second and the swiss air can be
used for approx. 15 minutes.
Storage
The swiss air and accessories must be stored in a dry place. Protect them from
sunlight, high temperatures, hydrocarbons and solvent fumes.
Maintenance
Check the fresh air system regularly according to these operating instructions. Check
the mask and hose for holes, tears, or other damage and make sure that the parts
are properly assembled. Do not use the system until all worn or damaged parts
have been replaced.

Annual maintenance must be carried out by a specialist company qualified by optrel

4 months
Cleaning and disinfection
Clean the swiss air and air hose with a cloth dampened with soapy water. Let the swiss
air dry at room temperature. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents or solvents, pure
alcohol or cleaning agents containing abrasives. The mask is washable. We recommend
hand washing with a household detergent. With other washing methods, the nose pad
and adhesive can come off the half mask (use a washing bag if necessary).
Troubleshooting
The swiss air does not turn on
→ Make sure that the battery is inserted correctly.
→ Make sure that the battery is fully charged.
→ The battery's short-circuit protection may be on, briefly connect the battery to the
power supply and try again.
→ The controller on the control panel is not on "Off" (if the swiss air was switched off
directly on the device), first switch the controller to "Off" and then on again (only when
used with the control panel)
