▶ Use the correct equipment
configuration with compatible
piston and fastener.
▶ Avoid ramming the fastening
tool against the work surface.
▶ Cycle the tool completely.
▶ Service the tool.
▶ Contact Hilti service.
▶ Replace the piston and the
piston stopper.
▶ Drive a second fastener beside
the first one.
▶ Check the fastener recommen-
dation. If the type of fastener is
correct, increase driving energy
in accordance with cartridge
recommendations or use a
more powerful cartridge.
▶ Remove the nail magazine or
the fastener guide.
▶ Change the piston and the
piston stopper.
▶ Install the nail magazine or the
fastener guide.
▶ Service the tool.
▶ See the "Cartridge strip cannot
be removed" fault. Adhere to
the maximum fastener driving
rate.
▶ Cycle the fastening tool com-
pletely and set the cycling grip
to the starting position.
▶ Press the fastening tool fully
against the work surface and
then pull the trigger.
▶ Remove the fastener strip.
▶ Check the fastener strip for
damage.
▶ Replace damaged fastener
strips.
▶ Contact Hilti Service.
▶ Screw the magazine tighter.
▶ Cycle the fastening tool com-
pletely and set the cycling grip
to the starting position.
▶ Insert a fastener into the
fastening tool.
▶ Contact Hilti Service.
▶ Insert the piston into the
fastening tool.
