Preparations at the workplace
5.1
Assembling the fastening tool
WARNING
Risk of injury by accidental triggering! A loaded fastening tool can be made ready to fire at any time.
Accidental triggering can endanger you and others.
▶ Always unload the fastening tool (cartridges and fasteners) whenever you interrupt work with the fastening
tool.
▶ Before all maintenance, cleaning and setup activities, always make sure that there are no cartridges and
no fasteners in the fastening tool.
1. Mount the piston stopper on the fastener guide (1).
2. Insert the piston into the piston guide (2).
3. Insert the piston guide (slider at top) into the housing.
4. Push the piston guide into the housing and lock the piston guide with the piston-guide locking lever (4).
5. Position the fastener guide on the piston guide.
6. Turn the fastener guide clockwise until it engages (5).
▶ The fastener guide is locked.
