USE
When positioning the vegetables in the drawers, their
specific weights should be taken into consideration. Heavy
and hard vegetables must be placed at the bottom of the
drawer and light and soft vegetables must be kept on top.
Pears, kiwis, tomatoes, cucumbers, apricots, peaches,
broccoli, lettuce, cabbage, parsley and spinach are fruits
and vegetables that emit ethylene gas. Do not place them
in the same crisper with other fruits and vegetables. The
ethylene gas emitted by these foods causes other fruits and
vegetables to ripen sooner and to spoil in a shorter span of
time.
Do not remove the drawer from the refrigerator unless you
must do so.
HINGE ADJUSTMENT
When adjusting the tightness of the hinge, the tightness of
the lower and upper door hinges of the fresh food
compartment can be adjusted with the help of an electric
screwdriver. Move the hinge adjustment screw to position
"1" from position "0".

ACTIVATING AND USING THE ICE MAKER

NOTE
The operating pressure for the cold-water
inlet is listed in the Technical Specifications
section. If the water pressure exceeds the
maximum value, a pressure limiting valve
should be installed on the water mains
before installing the appliance. If the water
mains pressure is less than the minimum
value, an auxiliary pump can be used to
compensate for the low pressure. If you do
not know how to check the water pressure,
please consult a professional plumber.
To activate the Ice Maker after the appliance is installed,
read the OPERATION section in this manual. Please note
that 12 to 24 hours are required before ice production can
begin.
Failure to follow the instructions regarding sanitising can
compromise the hygienic safety of the ice and water
dispensed:
When the Ice Maker is activated for the first time, and
every time the filter is changed, it is recommended that
you let water flow through the circuit by implementing
"manual cleaning" and make sure to dispose of the first
full bin of ice produced in 24 hours.
If the ice is not used frequently, is advisable to empty the
ice bin once every 8-10 days.
Clean the ice bucket or drawer regularly with warm
water. Make sure that you switch off the ice maker
before clearing the container. Rinse it out and wipe it dry.
It is normal for some ice cubes to stick to one another. If
the ice is not frequently used, the older cubes can
become opaque, will have a strange flavour and smell,
and become smaller.
If the equipment has been switched off for a month or
more, it is recommended to perform a water and filter
cleaning cycle.
The filter must be changed when indicated on the control
panel or when the ice dispenser has not been used for
more than 30 days. With each filter replacement,
sanitise the ice making system using a food grade
disinfectant (with sodium hypochlorite), which does not
alter the characteristics of the materials. Rinse with at
least 2 litres of water before use.
WARNING
Warning: Do not place any bottles or food
in the ice cube container for rapid cooling.
