GENERAL INFORMATION
SAVING ENERGY
Correct use of the appliance, correct packaging of
foodstuffs, a constant temperature and food hygiene all
have effects on the quality of storage.
WARNING
Connecting your refrigerator to an energy
saving system is dangerous, as this may
damage your appliance.
•
Do not leave the doors of your refrigerator open for a
long time.
•
Do not put hot food or drinks into your refrigerator.
•
Do not overload the refrigerator. Cooling capacity will fall
when air circulation in the refrigerator is obstructed.
•
Do not place the refrigerator in direct sunlight. Install the
product at least 30 cm (12") away from heat sources
such as hobs, ovens, heater units and stoves and at
least 5 cm (2") away from electric ovens. If this is not
possible, suitable insulation must be used.
•
Be sure to store your food in closed containers inside the
refrigerator.
•
You can remove the drawer shelf in the freezer
compartment in order to fill the freezer compartment with
the maximum amount of food. The appliance's provided
energy consumption value has been determined with the
freezer compartment shelf or drawer removed and with
the refrigerator filled with the maximum amount of food.
There is no harm in choosing to use a shelf or drawer
based on the shapes and sizes of the food to be frozen.

Thawing frozen foods in the fridge compartment both
saves energy and preserves the quality of the foods.
•
Clean the condenser (if it can be accessed) periodically
to prevent the appliance from losing efficiency.
NOTE
The temperature in the room where your
refrigerator is located should at least be
10℃ (50℉). Operating your refrigerator in
cooler conditions is not recommended, in
terms of its efficiency.
NOTE
The inside of your refrigerator must be kept
perfectly clean.
NOTE
If two refrigerators are to be installed side
by side, there should be at least 4 cm (1 1/2
") distance between them.
