Connection
The following applies for all cinch connections:
•
The white cinch jack on the mixing desk is the jack for the left channel.
•
The red cinch jack on the mixing desk is the jack for the right channel.
a) Connecting the inputs
Inputs LINE1 and LINE2 (16)
There are two stereo cinch inputs available to which you can connect your reproduction devices, e.g. radio, CD player
or MP3 player. These inputs are suitable for connecting audio devices with line level.
The inputs are not suitable for record players.
Inputs PHONO1 and PHONO2 (17)
These inputs only serve to connect record players with magnet systems.
They are not suited for devices with LINE output level.
Connection „MIC" (9)
You can connect your microphone to this input.
b) Connecting the outputs
MASTER OUTPUT (15)
Connect this output to a free cinch input of your amplifier (e.g. AUX).
PHONES headphone jack (15)
Connect headphones with a 6.3 mm jack plug to the headphone jack.
c) Connecting the record-player earth
If your record player has its own earths (usually a thin, black cable with clamp-type socket), connect these to the GND
earth screw terminals (18). This helps to avoid buzzing and interference.
