10. Operation
Do not turn the device on before you have read and understood these operating instructions.
Check all the connections again. When you have done so, reconnect the negative pole of the car
battery.

Use this button to switch the device on and off and to mute it.
Press briefly when the device is switched off > device is switched on
Press briefly when the device is switched on > mute is activated or deactivated
Press and hold when the device is switched on > device is switched off
To switch the device on, you can also press the rotary control (12).
Rotary control (12)
You can set the volume by turning this control.
You can make different menu settings by pressing this control:
BAS > TRE > BAL > FAD > LOUD > EQ > STEREO/MONO > LOC > BEEP > TA > PI > RETURN > MASK
These settings are explained in detail below in these operating instructions.
Display (4)
The display (4) shows all the information, depending on the audio source that is being played (radio,
CD-player etc.).
MOD button (1)
With this button you can select various audio sources.
Briefly press this button to toggle the next source:
TUNER > USB > CARD > AUX-IN
When one of the sources is not active, i.e., no medium inserted, this source will be skipped in the
selection.
Setting the time
Press and hold the PTY/CLK button (11) until the time is shown in the display.
Press the PTY/CLK button (11) again until the hour display flashes.
Set the desired hours by turning the rotary control (12). Press the rotary control (12) and set the minutes by
turning the rotary control (12).
Press the PTY/CLK button (11) to save the setting.
