Changing the Sewing Direction
1. Stop the sewing machine at the point where you want to change the sewing direction and so
that the needle is positioned in the fabric. If necessary, turn the handwheel until the needle
pricks into the fabric.
2. Raise the fabric clamp and turn the fabric to face the new direction, using the needle as the
fulcrum.
3. Lower the fabric clamp and continue sewing in the new direction.

1. Stop the sewing machine.
2. Turn the handwheel to bring the needle up to its highest position.
Storage
•
Place a piece of fabric under the fabric clamp.
•
If present, disconnect the mains adapter from the mains and then from the device.
•
If you do not intend to use the sewing machine for a lengthy period of time, take the batteries
out.
•
Store the device and accessories in the original packaging and keep it out of the reach of
children and animals in a dry place at temperatures of between 0 and 40°C.

5. Turn the handwheel until the needle pricks into the fabric. Hold
the fabric fi rmly with your left hand.
6. Take the sewing machine in your right hand and slide the On/
Off switch into the "Ein" (on) position using your thumb.
7. The fabric is sewn and transported to the left. Guide the
fabric carefully with your left hand so that the stitch is
straight. To extend the length of the stitches, you can pull
the fabric lightly and evenly. But do not pull too much!
CAUTION! Do not leave the device switched on for longer
than 10 seconds without interruption. Take breaks of around 5
seconds in between times.
3. Use a pair of scissors to pull some more thread out of the
sewing machine. Cut through the thread approx. 15 cm from
the fabric so that enough thread is left over to secure the seam
by hand.
4. Raise the fabric clamp and carefully pull out the fabric.
