13. Disposal
Used electrical and electronic devices are recyclable and may not be disposed of in the house-
hold waste!
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory
guidelines.
14. Troubleshooting
With the device, you have purchased a reliable product developed using state-of-the-art technology.
Nonetheless, errors and malfunctions may occur.
Please review the following for information on troubleshooting should problems occur:
It is mandatory to observe the safety instructions.
No display after the POWER switch (22) is turned on:
• The mains cable is not plugged in correctly to the mains socket.
• The mains cable is not plugged in correctly to the AC IN socket (21).
The MP3 player does not recognize a USB storage device:
• It may take awhile for the MP3 player to recognize a USB storage device as the contents must first be
read.
• The storage device is not FAT32 formatted.
• Disconnect and reconnect the storage device.
• The USB port can be used to operate USB storage devices only. Most USB MP3 players switch to PC
mode when connected to this port. Music files cannot be played in this mode.
• Due to the great variety of USB storage devices available, it may occur that a storage device is not com-
patible. Do not try to use any other storage device.
The PITCH slider (14) does not work:
• The PITCH function is not activated.
There is no sound:
• A device in the playback chain is off.
• The wrong input is set on the amplifier/mixer.
• The volume control of your amplifier/mixer or output stage is set to the minimum.
