d) Selecting a track
Use the TRACK dial (16) to select tracks. Push the FOLDER button (15) to use the TRACK dial (16) to select
folders.
• Turn the TRACK dial (16) until the display shows the desired track/folder.
• Push the TRACK dial (16) to confirm the selection.
• The pick-up jumps to the desired position briefly.
The selected track is called up in the mode the player was in before the dial was pushed.
When a track is selected, the device automatically sets the CUE point at the beginning of each
track.
e) SEARCH mode
SEARCH mode allows the user to quickly find a location within a track.
SEARCH mode with the JOG wheel
Push the SEARCH button (3) to set the JOG WHEEL to SEARCH mode.
• Turn the JOG WHEEL counter clockwise to search backwards or clockwise to search forwards.
Turn the JOG WHEEL in PLAYBACK mode to mute the output signal.
Turn the JOG WHEEL in PAUSE mode to unmute the output signal.
SEARCH mode with the SEARCH buttons (17)
• Push the SEARCH button (17) to search backwards/forwards.
SEARCH mode with the SEARCH buttons (17) is possible in both PLAYBACK and PAUSE mode.
Playback is muted while searching. View the play time display for orientation while using the fast
forward/fast reverse function.
