Be careful:
•
The Aura push assist is splash-proof. You
should therefore avoid driving through
shallow or deep puddles.
•
The wheelchair on which the Aura push assist
is fitted should never be sprayed with a high-
pressure cleaner or hosepipe as this can cause
irreversible damage to the Aura push assist.
•
Do not allow the Aura push assist to come in
contact with seawater as seawater is corrosive
and will rust the Aura.
•
Do not allow the Aura push assist to come in
contact with sand, as it may penetrate into the
moving parts of the Aura, causing unnecessarily
fast wear and tear.
EMC-approved
The Aura Push assist is approved for EMC (electromag-
netic compatibility). Tests have shown that the Aura is
not sensitive or damaging to mobile communication
equipment and electronically controlled equipment.
Despite this, please be careful when using the Aura
together with mobile or electronic equipment.
It is also not advised to use the Aura close to strong
electric or magnetic fields as can be found in industrial
environments. If you notice problems, please switch
off the push assist.

Introduction
Dear user,
A wheelchair should be comfortable, not only for
the user, but also for the companion. Only then is
optimum mobility guaranteed.
Your wheelchair is provided with an Aura push assist.
In this user manual you will find everything you need
to know about the Aura, from safety instructions and
operating functions to maintenance tips. Sections
important for your safety are marked in the text with
a safety symbol.
Warning:

Not following the safety directions, instructi-
ons, warnings and maintenance recommenda-
tions may have a negative effect on the push
assist performance and could result in physical
injury, or damage to the wheelchair or the en-
vironment.
Attention:

This manual is supplemental to the wheelchair
user manual. All safety instructions from the
wheelchair user manual also apply to a wheel-
chair fitted with an Aura push assist.
•
Read this user manual and the wheelchair user
manual carefully before using the push assist.
•
Keep the user manual in a safe place for a
possible future user.
