Sensors operation:
PULSE OXIMETER
The Xpod module from Nonin measures the blood oxygen saturation level (SpO2) and
the pulse frequency of the patient. Only Nonin-branded oximetry sensors should be
connected to the Xpod module.
ELECTROCARDIOGRAM - ECG 1 way
The ECG module allows to measure, by three electrodes, the patient's cardiac cycle
and heart rate.
Operating mode with option ECG:
Start-up
Connection of white connector (ECG) alone.
Connection of white connector (ECG) and black
(Jawac).
For a "24h" ECG recording:
• Connect the ECG module to the device (white connector). In this particular recording mode, only a
portion of the ECG data will be recorded.
• Before falling asleep, connect the distance sensor to the device (black connector). The recorder will
switch to normal recording mode.
• At wake-up, disconnect only the distance sensor (black connector). The recorder then continues the
partial recording of ECG signals.
Battery autonomy:
The battery must be recharged after each recording.
When the device is used WITH oximetry module:
If the battery is charged, its autonomy is sufficient to ensure a full night's recording.
When the device is used WITH ECG module:
If the battery is charged, its autonomy is sufficient to ensure 24 hours of monitoring and recording.
