Problem
The yellow indicator
light is on while the
device is connected
to a computer.
The computer
does not detect the
device although the
device is connected
to the computer.
The start date/time
of the recording
does not match
what is expected.

Possible cause
The yellow indicator light being on
is normal in these conditions. It in-
dicates that the device has detected
the presence of a USB connection.
If the yellow indicator light on the
front of the device does not light up,
it is likely that a plug is not correctly
inserted into its socket.
The computer has not detected the
device correctly.
Last recording did not start and
the internal memory still contains
previous recordings.
Time of the recorder is not correct.
Solution
-
Reinsert the plug of the special
USB cable in the white socket of
the device. Reinsert the USB plug
of the cable into a USB port on the
computer.
If the device does not appear in the
import utility list, use the 'Refresh'
button on the right. If necessary,
unplug the device from the com-
puter and replug it. If it still does
not work, restart the computer and
try again.
Restart the recording.
Perform a time setting by simply
connecting the device to the
computer and launching CERES.
The recordings that follow should
indicate the exact date.
