An indicator light on the device's front panel signals the different operating states of the device. The
following table details the indicator light behavior:

Green on if the probes of the distance sensor
are in the allowed range [3 – 9 inches]. (*)
Yellow on if the probes of the distance sensor
are not in the allowed range [3 – 9 inches]. (*)
Green and yellow remain off.
The recording does not start.
Yellow flashes 4 times.
The recording does not start.
Yellow flashes 1 time.
The recording does not start.
