Hand-held vacuum cleaner
Attaching / Detaching the Brush and
Crevice Nozzle
•
Plug the nozzle you want into the
suction opening (11) or the extension
tube (G). The nozzle must engage
audibly.
•
To detach it, press the release but-
ton (12) above the suction opening and
pull the nozzle out at the same time.
Removing / Inserting the Dust
Container
•
Removing: Press the release but-
ton (13) on the front of the dust
container and pull the dust container
upwards to remove it.
•
Inserting: Insert the dust container
into the motor unit (F) from above.
When you do this, make sure that the
release button is pointing downwards
(towards the motor unit) (Picture C).
The dust container must engage
audibly.
OPERATION
Please Note!
■
Ensure that there are no larger, sharp
objects on the surface which is to be
cleaned.
■
Note the MAX marking on the dust
container. If during use the marking
is reached, empty the dust container.
Empty and clean the dust container
after each use. The fi lters must also
be regularly cleaned in order to pre-
vent overloading of the motor.
■
Switch the device off after each
surface has been cleaned as this will
considerably increase the operating
time on each battery charge. Char-
ge up the battery after use (see the
"Charging Up the Battery" chapter).
1. Select an accessory as required (see
the "Accessories" chapter) and attach

it to the device (see the "Assembly"
chapter).
2. Switch on the device by pressing the
On / Off switch (8) once. If the device
is to be switched off again, press the
On / Off switch again. The device will
start vacuuming immediately. The
Level I operating lamp (6) lights up.
3. If necessary, Level II can be switched
on with the I / II button (7). The Level
I and II operating lamps light up. To
switch back to Level I, press the I / II
button again.
4. Move the device over the surface to
be cleaned.
5. Switch off the device after vacu-
uming.
6. To ensure optimum performance of
the device, empty and if necessary
clean the dust container after every
use (see next chapter).
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
■
Do not immerse the HEPA fi lter in wa-
ter or rinse it under running water to
prevent damage to the fi lter. It is neit-
her machine-washable, dishwasher-
safe nor suitable for tumble drying.
■
The fi lter holder and the dust fi lter are
not machine-washable, dishwasher-sa-
fe or suitable for tumble drying! Only
ever dry them in the air, and never use
a hair dryer to do so.
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents to clean the housing.
They may damage the surfaces.
The HEPA fi lter may lose some of
its colour over time. This is normal
and does not have any adverse
effect on function.
