CHARGING UP THE BATTERY
Please Note!
■
Only connect the mains adapter to a
plug socket that is properly installed
and matches its technical data. The
plug socket must be readily acces-
sible after connection so that the
connection to the mains can quickly
be isolated.
■
Only use suitable extension cables
whose technical data is the same as
that of the mains adapter.
■
Pull the mains adapter out of the plug
socket if an error occurs during char-
ging or before a thunderstorm.
■
Only ever charge up the rechargea-
ble battery using the mains adapter
supplied with the device (GQ12-
260040_AG). Do not use the mains
adapter that is supplied to charge up
any other devices.
■
It is essential that you charge up
the battery fully before you fi rst
use the device in order to achieve
the maximum charging capacity. If
the battery is fully discharged during
use, it must be fully charged up again
before it is next used.
■
Before inserting the battery, check
whether the contacts are clean and
clean them if necessary.
•
First plug the barrel connector of the
mains adapter (E) into the connecting
socket (10) on the motor unit (F) and
then connect the mains adapter to
a plug socket. The Level I operating
lamp (6) fl ashes. The battery is being
charged.
•
If the operating lamp is permanently
lit, the battery is fully charged.
•
First disconnect the mains adapter
from the mains power and then
disconnect the barrel connector from
the motor unit.

BRACKET
Please Note!
■
Use the fastening material supplied
to hang up the wall bracket. If you are
unsure whether the fastening material
supplied is suitable for your wall, seek
advice from a specialist stockist.
■
Hang the wall bracket in a secure and
solid place.
■
Before drilling, ensure that there are
no pipes or cables behind the inten-
ded drilling point.
1. Place the wall bracket (C) against the
wall and mark out two drill holes (at
the top and bottom).
2. Drill holes into the wall and place
dowels in them.
3. Screw the wall bracket onto the wall.

Attaching / Detaching the Electric
Floor Nozzle, Turbo Upholstery
Nozzle and Extension Tube
•
The electric fl oor nozzle (J), the turbo
upholstery nozzle (A) and the extensi-
on tube (G) are plugged directly onto
the suction opening (11). They must
engage audibly. Attach the electric
fl oor nozzle or the turbo upholstery
nozzle to the extension tube in the
same way.
•
To detach it, press the release but-
ton (12) above the suction opening
and pull the electric fl oor nozzle, the
turbo upholstery nozzle or the exten-
sion tube out at the same time.
