■ Descaling
If you are using tap water instead of demineralized water, lime
scale can build up in the water tank, which can reduce the
performance of the Garment Steamer and damage it in the
long run. It is important to descale the water tank regularly.
● The intervals between descaling depend on the degree of
hardness of the water and the frequency of use. We
recommend descaling at least every 25 uses to ensure that
the Garment Steamer continues to work properly.
● Descaling procedure: Use 125 ml of white vinegar mixed
with 125 ml of water. Pour the mixture into the water tank.
Switch on the Garment Steamer and use your appliance until
the tank is empty. You can release the steam in a sink (don't
steam on clothes with vinegar).
● Rinsing procedure: Refill the water tank with 250ml fresh
water and use your Garment Steamer until the tank is empty.
Repeat the descaling procedure if you still see traces of
limescale after rinsing.
● Ensure good ventilation when descaling with vinegar.
● Descaling must not be performed by children.
MAINTENANCE & SERVICE
● Apart from occasional cleaning and descaling, the Garment
Steamer is maintenance-free.
● You may not reconstruct, self-repair, or disassemble the
Garment Steamer.
● Check regularly for damage and severe wear.
WARNINGS:
- Do not attempt to open the Garment Steamer for
maintenance. Removing the housing or improper
reassembly may cause electric shocks, damage,
short circuit, or fire.
- If for any reason you open the housing, the warranty
will become null and void. The Garment Steamer
contains no user-serviceable parts.
- Maintenance, service, and repairs may only be
carried out by the manufacturer, a professional
workshop appointed by the manufacturer, or a
similarly qualified person. To obtain maintenance or

● For missing accessories such as the manual or other items,

● In case of a defect, return the product to FORDIG with a
failure description, proof of purchase, and all accessories.
