LVD
Compliant with LVD Directive:
This product is compliant with the Low Voltage
Directive (LVD). The Low Voltage Directive (LVD)
(2014/35/EU) ensures that electrical equipment
within certain voltage limits provides a high level of
protection for European citizens. This directive has
been applicable since 20 April 2016.
The low voltage directive covers health and safety
risks on electrical equipment operating with an input
or output voltage of between 50 and 1000 V for
alternating current and 75 and 1500 V for direct
current.
ErP
Compliant with ErP Directive:
The EU's Energy-Related Products Directive (ErP
Directive 2009/125/EC) is an eco-design directive
and applies to most products that consume energy
throughout their lifecycle. The ErP directive is
intended to encourage manufacturers and importers
to provide consumers with products that are more
energy efficient.
The scope of ErP certification involves testing a
product to prove it consumes energy below agreed
limits – once tested, a CE mark will be attached to
the product, which permits its sale across the EU
GS certificate:
The GS or Geprüfte Sicherheit (tested safety) mark
is a voluntary certification mark applied to finished
products that signify their compliance with all the
statutory requirements of the German Product
Safety Act. This test mark is recognized worldwide.
Compliant with REACH:
Registration,
Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) is a European
Union regulation dating from 18 December 2006.
REACH restricts the use of certain chemical
substances in all parts and products manufactured,
sold, and imported within the EU. It is the strictest
law to date regulating chemical substances.
ETL mark:
The ETL Listed Mark is a certification mark that
provides evidence of a product's compliance with
accepted and recognized product safety standards
in North America. The ETL Listed Mark is accepted
by the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) across
Canada and the United States.
