When the mains adapter is connected, the display indicates the air quality data (VOC) in ppm CO
equiva-

lents in the lower segment. VOCs are volatile organic compounds that primarily affect the quality of indoor air
through organic effl uents (vapours) of human respiration, perspiration and digestion, as well as vapours of
building materials and furnishings. The VOC indicator in the HygroCube 100 is subdivided into following levels
and points out ventilation recommendations.
If the Hygrocube 100 is disconnected from the mains adapter, the set time is indicated right then.
12. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Apart from an occasional cleaning, this measuring device is maintenance-free. Use a dry, clean, lint-free, anti-
static cloth to clean the device. Do not use any abrasive or chemical agents or detergents containing solvents.
Periodically check the technical safety of the wall plug transformer. It can be assumed that correct operation
is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- if the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time
- it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
