9. GETTING STARTED
Connect mains adapter (only HygroCube 100)
The VOC sensor of the HygroCube 100 functions fully only with the wall plug transformer enclosed. Plug the
wall plug transformer's low-voltage plug into the socket (15) located on the side of the measuring device. Con-
nect the wall plug transformer to a socket connected to the national grid.
When the external power supply (mains adapter) to the HygroCube is disconnected, the features
are reduced to those of the HygroCube 55.
Initial calibration and warm-up phase (only HygroCube 100)
The warm-up phase for the VOC sensor lasts about 15 min. at an ambient temperature of 22 °C. H-UP is
indicated on the display during this time.
In the fi rst 72 hours, the air quality sensor adapts automatically to all of the ambient conditions and thus, can
deliver out-of-spec values.
Discrepancies continuing to occur even after this period may be remedied by changing the position
of the HygroCube.
