INSTALLATION
•
Hang the skimmer into the middle section of the internal sump (step 2), the hook (A) is height-adjustable.
•
The proper height of the skimmer in the sump depends on the level of contamination.
•
For a start, you can adjust the skimmer so that the outflow (B) is on or just below the water surface.
•
You can control the water flow with the outflow valve (C).
•
Place the foam collection cup (D) into the skimmer housing until both stoppers (E) which are on either side of
the cup, rest upon the grey rim, there is still room to adjust the height if necessary.
•
With the valve (F) you can adjust the amount of air and control the foaming.
•
For optimal skimmings you can adjust the height of the skimmer in the aquarium, the height of the collection
cup, the water level in the skimmer, the water flow and the air supply.
•
Turn the skimmer on by plugging it into the socket, make a drip loop in the cable.
MAINTENANCE
•
Regularly check and if necessary clean the foam collection cup with tap water. Do not use detergents these
may affect the operation of your skimmer.
