The cooking times indicated in the cookbook are only
approximate times. The cooking time depends on the
condition, temperature and amount of food and on the
type of cooking ware.
. Begin with the minimum cooking time to help prevent
overcooking. If the food is not sufficiently cooked you can
:
always cook it for a little longer.
. Cooking small amounts or food with a low moisture content
too long may lead to dry or even burnt results. In case the
food burns keep the door of the oven closed and pull out
the plug from the AC outlet.
Avoid cooking eggs in the shell, as the increasing pressure
inevitably leads to the egg bursting.
. Food such as potatoes or sausages should be pierced to
prevent them from bursting.
. Cover liquids that are to be heated to prevent spattering.
. You may check the cooking condition of food by using a
meat thermometer. But do not use the thermometer in the
oven. (For further information see the included cookbook.)
Remove any wire fasteners from food products before you
put the food into the oven.
. Do not heat any closed cans or bottles because they might
explode.
. Do not use ordinary meat thermometers in the oven
because they may cause sparks.
Remove plastic bags before cooking or defrosting.
If you use any aluminum foil, meat spikes or metal ware
the distance between them and the oven walls and door
should be at least 2 cm to prevent sparks.
(For further information see the included cookbook.)
