Modifications and/or repairs to your appliance should always be
made by a licensed gas fitter or an appropriately qualified person.
•
If the gas-hose need to be replaced it must comply with local
regulations. For proper operation and safety reasons the gas-
hose may not exceed a length of 2.0 meters.
• Always cover your fireplace when not in use with the protective
cover included in the scope of delivery and ensure that the
fireplace is safe and protected.
Assembling:
• Clifton and gas cylinder have to be assembled in full compliance
with local regulations and this manual.
•
Place the Clifton on a stable, flat surface.
•
Set your Clifton level as possible. With the large Clifton models,
use the built-in adjustable feet.
• Use gas hoses in accordance with EN1763-1 or EN 16436-1 only.
They are available at specialist retailers.
• Use a pressure regulator acc. to EN16129, available at specialist
retailers. Do not use an adjustable regulator.
•
Connect the gas-hose to the appropriate pressure regulator (see
schematic below).
