17. QUICK START GUIDE
1. Unpack powerchair.
2. Unfold the powerchair by pulling up on the backrest
slowly. Ensure that the cables and lap belt are not
caught in the chair when unfolding.
3. Ensure the lever below is locked to prevent the
powerchair from folding.
4. Put freewheel levers into ‚Electric' mode
by pushing forward both levers. Press in the
latch and extend the antitip wheel backwards,
on both sides of the powerchair.
5. Drop down armrests and pull down footrest.

6. Install joystick. Turn the securement knob to loosen.
Insert the joystick tubing. When the required position is
reached, tighten the knob to secure.
7. Connect the joystick lead to the battery lead.
Cover the connection with the fabric wrap.
8. Install the seat and back cushions
which attach with Velcro.
9. Check that the battery is locked in
position, underneath the seat.
