If charging process is terminated, the display will show "CHECK BAT" (see
the first picture at right).The radio can detect the faulty batteries which
cause the charging failure. Enter the battery menu and then rotate the
Tuning control knob to view each battery status (e.g. The second picture
indicates that Battery 2 is in good condition. The third picture at right
indicates that Battery 1 is detected as faulty/damaged).
If a battery is removed while charging, the display will show "FAIL" (see
the first picture at right) and the charging indicator flashes red.
If there is no battery/missing batteries in the compartment, some of
batteries are inserted with the incorrect polarity or one of the batteries
capacity is less than 0.3V, the display will show "NO CELL" when you
enter the battery menu to view the battery status (see the second picture
at right).
Note:
Your radio can keep a continuous charge for 10 hours and it will terminate the charging process after this duration with
no exception, as it is considered as charging completed.
