• For safety reasons, always disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket dur-
ing thunderstorms.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music for longer periods of time. This could dam-
age your hearing.
Maintenance
Regularly check the safety of the complete PA set – for example, check for damage
to the mains cable or the housing.
If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, dis-
connect it immediately and secure it against being operated unintentionally. Discon-
nect the mains plug from the socket.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• There is visible evidence that the device has been damaged
• The device no longer works
• The device has been stored for long periods of time under unfavourable condi-
tions
• The device has been subjected to heavy transport strain
Make sure you observe the following safety instructions before cleaning or ser-
vicing the complete PA set:
Live components may be exposed if the covering is opened or
components are removed.
The device must be disconnected from all power sources before
carrying out any servicing or repair work.
Capacitors in the device may still be charged even after it has
been disconnected from all power sources.
Repair work must always be carried out by specialists familiar
with the hazards involved and with the relevant regulations.
If fuses have to be changed, make sure that they are replaced only with fuses of the
same type and rated current (refer to the „Technical data").
It is not permitted to repair fuses or bridge the fuse holder.
• Only after disconnecting from the mains (unplug at the socket) should be low-
power main connector be unplugged from the mains connection (9) on the device.
Lever out the fuse holder over the mains connection (9) with the defective fuse.
• Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
