Safety instructions
The warranty will be rendered invalid in the event of damage
caused by non-compliance with these operating instructions. We
shall not be liable for any consequential damage.
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal
injury caused by improper handling or non-compliance with the
safety instructions. The warranty will be rendered null and void in
such cases.
• For safety and approval (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifica-
tions to the product are not permitted.
• The device is manufactured according to protection class 1. Only an approved,
earthed mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz) connected to the public supply grid may be
used as a source of power.
• All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this com-
plete PA set must be trained and have the appropriate qualifications, and they
must observe these operating instructions.
• Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is risk of a fatal elec-
tric shock.
• If the power line is damaged, do not touch it. First of all, cut off the power supply
to the relevant mains socket (e.g. via the circuit breaker) and then pull the mains
plug carefully out of the mains socket. Separate the power line from the device
and use a new power line. Never use the product if the power line is damaged.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the mains cable is not pinched or
damaged by sharp edges.
• This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children
do not understand how dangerous electrical devices can be.
• Never position vessels or containers containing liquids, such as glasses, buckets,
vases or plants, in the direct vicinity of the system. Liquids could enter into the inte-
rior of the housing and impair the electrical safety of the device. There is also a
great risk of fire or a fatal electric shock. In such a case, cut off the power supply to
the mains socket (e.g. by using the circuit breaker) and pull the mains plug out of
the mains socket. Remove all cables from the device. The product may not be
operated any longer. Take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong
vibration or heavy mechanical loads.
• Do not place open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on or right next to the
device.
• Contact a specialist if you have any doubt about how the device operates, its
safety or how to connect it.
• Never leave the device on without supervision.
• Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
