Important remarks
- Before cleaning or caring for your appliance, it must be unplugged
and allowed to cool down completely.
- Never immerse the main body of the appliance, the hotplate or the
power cord in water or any other liquid.
- No parts are dishwasher safe.
- Do not remove the temperature control knobs when cleaning.
- Do not use inappropriate chemical or chlorinated products.
CleANINg BeFoRe FIRSt uSe
1. Wash the hotplate in hot water with liquid detergent and a
sponge. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
2. After removing the protective film from the body of the
appliance, wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and remove
any further residual traces.
CleANINg AFteR uSe
Always clean your appliance after each use to avoid the accu-
mulation of cooked and re-cooked food.
1. Remove the hotplate from the main body of the appliance.
Wipe it with a soft cloth to remove any food residue. When
dealing with large amounts of encrusted residue, run warm
soapy water over the hotplate and clean with a sponge.
Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Note
The hotplate can be cleaned with a water jet: make sure you
remove the hotplate from the main body of the appliance before
doing so.
2. Allow the grease collector to cool down completely before
removing it from its compartment. Empty it after each use
and wash it with hot soapy water. Rinse and dry it before
repositioning it.
3. Wipe the outside of the main body of the appliance with a
soft, slightly damp cloth. Dry it carefully.
stoRaGe
After cleaning the appliance, make sure that its
various parts have been dried properly before storing
the appliance in a dry and sheltered environment.
We recommend that you cover your appliance with
a protective cover.
Note
Remember to give your griddle a thorough cleaning
(as described in the "Cleaning & Maintenance"
section) before storing it for the winter.
