i) Controlling the vehicle
Move the throttle/brake lever on the remote control very carefully and drive slowly until you are familiar
with how the vehicle responds to the remote control. Do not make rapid or sudden adjustments to the
controls.
Forwards/reverse/stop
The vehicle will move forwards when the engine lever (6) is
moved towards the handle.
Move the lever (6) away from the handle to reverse the vehicle.
To bring the vehicle to a standstill, release the lever (6) so that
it is in the neutral/central position.
Left/right
Move the steering wheel (5) to the right to make the vehicle
move to the right.
Move the steering wheel (5) to the left to make the vehicle
move to the left.
Release the steering wheel (5) into the neutral/central position
to make the vehicle drive in a straight line.
Calibrating the steering wheel
If the vehicle does not move in a straight line when the steering
wheel (5) is in the neutral position, you can calibrate the steer-
ing wheel to prevent it from moving to the left or right.
You can calibrate the steering wheel using the small lever on
the bottom of the vehicle (see circle in right-hand image).
Turn the lever in small steps until the vehicle moves in a
straight line.
It is normal for the vehicle to deviate slightly from a straight line due to tolerances in the mechanical parts
or uneven surfaces.
