Operating Instructions
Control
Checking the running direction
Insert the CEE plug into the CEE socket or switch on the main switch. Now use the UP and DOWN buttons to check whether
the running direction of the door agrees with these commands.
Also observe the direction LEDs on the motherboard of the S60II.
If the running direction does not correspond to the arrow direction:
Remove the CEE plug, or switch the main switch off. Swap the L1 and L3 connections, for example, at the mains connection
terminals (see "Connection plan"). Resume installation.

Setting the end limits

The control is set at the factory so that ascent is carried out in self-locking mode and descent in deadman's mode. To facilitate
moving to the fi nal position when setting the limit switches, you can switch the ascent from self-locking to deadman's mode
with function switch FS2 on the "Deadman's" control card. If the "Multicard II" is used, switch to the setting mode with DIP
switch 8 ("OFF" position). Ascent and descent will then be carried out solely in deadman's mode.
Lower end limit setting
Move the door to the bottom end limit with the DOWN button (deadman's mode). Approach the desired end limit for the door
by "tapping" if necessary. Set the limit switch cam for DOWN (black) according to the operating instructions for the direct
mount drive used.
Upper end limit setting
Move the door to the top end limit with the UP button (deadman's mode). Once again, approach the desired top end limit of
the door by "tapping" if necessary. Set the limit switch cam for UP (grey) according to the operating instructions for the direct
mount drive used.
Setting the safety limit switches
The safety limit switches (yellow) are set with approx. 3° delay to the respective operating limit switch. Observe the relevant
information in the operating instructions for the direct mount drive. If a safety limit switch is contacted, the control voltage is
switched off. The relevant control cam must then be turned away manually from the limit switching micro switch, or cleared
by manual activation (e.g. crank).
Setting the special function switch for pneumatic testing/electrical function cutoff
Special function switch 1 (orange)
• Set the control cam so that it is activated max. 5 cm above the ground.
• In the case of a pneumatic edge, this setting serves for the "introduction of testing" in accordance with EN 12453 (ZH
1/494)
• In the case of an electrical edge, this setting serves for "switching rail cutoff", so that no ascent or release of the door oc-
curs upon contact with the ground.
Setting the special function switch for partial opening
Special function switch 2 (green)
• If the setting of FS1=B, this limit switch switches the potential-free relay of the S60II (see also "Functional description -
Potential-free relay").
• If the setting of FS1=A, this limit switch serves as "upper limit position" when partial opening is activated
Note
On principle, the precise adjustment of the limit positions is carried out with the fi ne adjustment screw of
the respective control cam (please see also the operating instructions for the door drive).
