Hoogenergetische schokgolftherapie (volgens hoofdstu 2.1 N
) is niet toegestaan voor:

Lucht gevuld weefsel (met name long weefsel) in het te behandelen gebied
–
Hersenen of ruggegraat in het te behandelen gebied
–
Onbehandelde coagulopathiën (hemophilia)
–
Kwaadaardige tumor in het te behandelen gebied
–
Gebied van epifysaire platen bij kinderen
–
Zwangerschap
–
Gebruik van anticoagulantia, vooral Marcumar
–
Thrombose in het te behandelen gebied
–
Cortisone therapie tot 6 weken voor eerste behandeling
