Switching On-off (Fig. 1)

Connect the plug to the power supply.
Switch the power tool on: push the ON/OFF switch button (1) forwards onto the "I"
position.
Switch the power tool off: pull the ON/OFF switch button backwards to the "O" position.
WARNING: Never use the machine for sanding magnesium work piece.
7.4

Replace and install the sanding base and extension plates

NOTE: There are three sanding bases (round / triangular / rectangular) and
two extension plates (finger-type plate and cylindrical-type plate).
Depending on the sanding activity, choose the most suitable one.
Important: Prior to any assembly and adjustment always unplug the tool.
7.4.1
Remove the sanding base (round / triangular / rectangular) (Fig. 2)
Open the clamping lever (A) on the sanding base.
Push the sanding base release button (B)
While holding the sanding base release button down (B), pull the sanding base off in a
downward direction.
Clean the sanding base and the machine.
7.4.2
Mounting a sanding base (round / triangular rectangular) (Fig. 3)
Open the clamping lever (A) on the sanding base.
Look at the arrow on the rectangular sanding base. Make sure this arrow is always on the
front of the device.
There are 4 pins (1 oval pin, 1 round pin and 2 round pins with a notch) on a round
turnable on the bottom of the device. Make sure these are aligned with the corresponding
holes in the sanding base (C, circled on the description picture).
While the 4 pins on the round turnable are aligned with the corresponding holes, also align
the other 4 pins on the outside of the sanding base (D, framed on the description picture)
and press the sanding base onto the machine.
Close and lock the clamping lever (A) on the sanding base.
7.4.3
Mounting an extension plate (finger-type / cylindrical-type plate) (Fig. 4)
NOTE: You can only mount the extension plates in combination with the
triangular sanding base. Not possible to mount the extension plates on the
round and rectangular plate.
Make sure the triangular sanding base is mounted
Open the clamping lever (E) on the tip of the triangular sanding base.
Lift out and remove the tip (F) of the triangular sanding base
Mount the finger-type (10) or cylindrical-type plate (11)
Close and lock the clamping lever (E) on the tip of the triangular sanding base.
