Unpacking
• Open the packaging and carefully remove the prod-
uct.
• Remove the packaging material, as well as the pack-
aging and transport safety devices (if present).
• Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
• Check the product and accessory parts for transport
damage. In the event of complaints the carrier must
be informed immediately. Later claims will not be
recognised.
• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the
warranty period.
• Familiarise yourself with the product by means of the
operating manual before using for the first time.
• With accessories as well as wearing parts and re-
placement parts use only original parts. Spare parts
can be obtained from your specialist dealer.
• When ordering please provide our article number as
well as type and year of manufacture for the product.
m WARNING!
The product and the packaging material are not
children's toys! Do not let children play with plas-
tic bags, films or small parts! There is a danger of
choking or suffocating!
8. Before commissioning
NOTE: Always put on the safety goggles provided be-
fore starting up the machine. Remove the protective
film from the safety goggles before using them for the
first time.
8.1
Connect compressed air source
NOTE: The air nail gun may only be operated with
cleaned, oil-misted compressed air and must not ex-
ceed the maximum working pressure of 7.5 bar at the
device. The compressor must be equipped with a pres-
sure reducer to regulate the working pressure.
Connect the device to a suitable compressed air
source:
1.
To do this, press the quick coupling of the com-
pressed air hose (not included in the scope of de-
livery) onto the ¼ (4) threaded nipple of the air nail
gun. The locking mechanism is automatic.
2.
Connect the other end of the compressed air hose
to the (filter) pressure reducer on the compressor.
8.2
Loading the magazine
1.
Press the magazine lever (5) and pull back the
magazine cover to the end stop.
2.
Insert the appropriate driving-in material (nails,
see Fig. A or staples, see Fig. B) into the maga-
zine (6). The staples must be placed on the spar of
the magazine (6).
3.
Slide the magazine cover forward until it clicks into
place.
9.
Operation
• Load the magazine (6) of the air nail gun as de-
scribed in the chapter "Loading the magazine".
• Set the correct working pressure using the pressure
reducer.
• Ensure that the maximum working pressure of 7.5
bar on the device is not exceeded. Excessive work-
ing pressure does not improve performance, but
only increases compressed air consumption and
accelerates wear of the equipment.
• Switch the compressor on.
• Run the compressor once until the maximum boiler
pressure has been reached and the device switches
off.
• Place the air nail gun on the workpiece and press
the trigger (2). NOTE: The air nail gun is equipped
with a release safety device (8). The driving-in ma-
terial does not leave the device until the muzzle of
the compressed air nail gun is tripped against the
workpiece and the trigger (2) is actuated.
• Turn the exhaust air aperture (1), to let the air flow
out to the desired direction.
• Disconnect the machine from the compressor after
completing your work.
Removing jammed staples
• If a staple/nail gets stuck in the magazine shaft, re-
move the compressed air supply line immediately.
• Open the magazine (6) as described in the chapter
"Loading the magazine".
• Open the front plate (10) by pulling the front plate
quick clamp lever (11) towards the release catch (8).
• Remove the jammed driving-in material.
• Close the front plate (10) by pulling the front plate
quick clamp lever (11) towards the exhaust air cover
(1).
• Close the magazine (6) of the air nail gun as de-
scribed in the chapter "Loading the magazine".
