• The compressed air-operated driving-in device may
only be connected to cables where it is ensured that
the maximum permitted pressure is prevented from
being exceeded by more than 10%, e.g. by means
of a pressure control valve (pressure reducer) in-
stalled in the compressed air cable with a down-
stream or built-in pressure relief valve.
Triggering device & triggering system
• This driving-in device is triggered by pressing the
trigger with the finger. In addition, certain driving-in
devices must be equipped with a trigger safety de-
vice which only enables a driving-in operation when
the muzzle of the device is placed on a workpiece.
These devices are marked with a triangle on the top
and must not be used without an effective release
safety device.
• The device must not be used from scaffolds or lad-
ders. It must not be used for certain applications,
for example: when changing from one driving-in
point to another via scaffolding, stairs, ladders or
ladder-like constructions, such as roof battens, or
when closing crates or crates, when attaching trans-
port retainers, e.g. on vehicles and wagons.
Keep these safety instructions in a safe place.
Residual risks
Even when this tool is operated properly, residual risks
still remain. The following hazards may arise in con-
nection with the design and construction of this device:
1.
Danger of crushing!
2.
Danger of injury due to driven-in fasteners.
3.
Hearing damage if suitable hearing protection is
not worn.
4.
Damage to health resulting from hand/arm vi-
bration if the device is not properly operated and
maintained.
